2008 REACH OUT LIBERIA CAMPAIGN

From year to year, nations around the world celebrate the Independence or National Day to commemorate that day in history when they where liberated from a colonial or foreign government. This day is usually characterized by match pasts, carnivals, parades, state sponsored parties and the like.
Liberia, a republic situated on the West African coastline is one of such nations; bordered by Sierra Leone, Guinea, Côte d'Ivoire, and the Atlantic Ocean. It has an estimated population of 3,489,072 people and a relatively hot equatorial tropical climate.
Every year on the 26th of July, the resilient and ever hospitable Liberians come out to celebrate their Independence Day which they gained 161 years ago. Remarkable you might say, and actually it is indeed as Liberia gained independence from the United States of America after only 26 years of Colonial rule in the year 1847.
In recent years, the nation had been set back by years of oppressive dictatorships and two civil wars. However this year the nation of Liberia has something to shout about as Reach out with Rhapsody of Realities comes to Liberia. This wonderful and inspiring devotional by Pastors Chris and Anita Oyakhilome will be distributed to people all over Liberia that will bring about a change in their lives. Thanks to her generous partners. Rhapsody of Realities…. Changing lives. Watch out for the full report coming soon.
