A Report on the First Healing Service of the 2010 Spring Session in Johannesburg, South Africa
Shouts of jubilation filled the air as the commentator described every condition and announced their healing as the man of God, Pastor Chris, ministered to them. The audience was beside themselves as they witnessed the miraculous with their own eyes!
Earlier that day, an expectant crowd had poured into the grounds of the Healing School complex, filling the auditorium and the designated overflow to capacity! It was the first healing service of the Healing School spring session in Johannesburg, South Africa and expectations were high for a life changing experience!
Students had registered to attend from 90 countries namely, Afghanistan, Albania, Algeria, Angola, Antigua and Barbuda, Australia, Austria, Azerbaijan, Bahrain, Bangladesh, Barbados, Belarus, Belgium, Belize, Benin, Bermuda , Bhutan , Bosnia and Herzegovina, Botswana, Brazil, Burkina Faso, Burundi, Cameroon, Canada, Congo DRC, Cote D'Ivoire, Cuba, Egypt, Equatorial Guinea, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Finland, France, Gabon, Germany, Ghana, Guinea, Hungary, Iceland, India, Ireland, Italy, Jamaica, Jordan, Kenya, Korea North, Lebanon, Lesotho, Liberia, Libya, Macedonia, Malawi, Malaysia, Mauritius, Mozambique, Myanmar, Namibia, Nepal, Netherlands, New Zealand, Niger, Nigeria, Pakistan, Philippines, Qatar, Romania, Russia, Rwanda, Saint Helena, Saudi Arabia, Sierra Leone, Singapore, South Africa, South Georgia, Spain, Sri Lanka, Sudan, Swaziland, Switzerland, Syria, Tanzania, Togo, Tunisia, Uganda, Ukraine, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, United States, Zambia and Zimbabwe. Also in attendance were visiting ministers from Egypt, Jordan, South Korea and the United Kingdom, as well as esteemed partners of the Healing School from across Southern Africa.
Testimonies of Miracles!From the beginning of the service, the atmosphere was marked by an unmistakable outpouring of God's Spirit. The refreshing praise and worship moved the congregation, and soon everyone became enraptured as God's presence filled the arena. Soon after, past attendees of the Healing School were introduced to the congregation. These ones had been healed at previous Healing School sessions and their lives had been transformed as a result.
One of them was
Kgomotso Namane. She was barely nineteen years old when she was diagnosed with HIV. She'd become totally incapacitated due to attendant complications such as heart failure and extreme pain. Severely ill, she had to drop out of school and ran a monthly medical bill of about 560 US dollars. At the Healing School, she was ministered to by the man of God, Pastor Chris and was totally healed! She later went to three different doctors who confirmed what she already knew – she was now HIV negative! She brandished all three reports before the congregation, and shouts of joy and thanksgiving filled the air!
Another was
Prize Mahachi, a 34 year old man who came to the Healing School, expecting restoration for his collapsed right lung. For three years he had difficulty breathing, walking long distances and carrying heavy things. The condition had made it hard for him to hold a job and to enjoy the simple pleasures of life. He came to the Healing School on the invitation of a member of a local Christ Embassy Church and got a miracle! And today, he's full of testimonies of God's goodness in his life!
Tinkies Plantinah Chauke also testified of her miracle. A 70 year old South African, she'd suffered for over 10 years from arthritis. She'd experienced symptoms such as swollen knees, pain in her legs and back, headaches and
dizziness. The condition became so severe; she had difficulty walking and moved around with crutches. She also had difficulty sleeping due to the pains she felt. Eventually, she ended up in a wheel chair. After the man of God ministered to her at the Healing School, she got healed and her life is no longer the way it used to be.
She's been testifying of her healing, and her family and friends are amazed at the transformation. She can now do all she couldn't do by herself before such as walking long distances and gardening. She also sleeps like a baby, because she no longer experiences pain!
A Transforming Anointing!The entrance of the man of God into the auditorium was greeted with loud cheers from the congregation. With palpable compassion and urgency, he began ministering God's healing power to all who were sick and infirmed. As he ministered, a myriad of miracles happened! The lame walked; the deaf heard; the blind saw; and diverse kinds of infirmities were healed! The power of God was so intense; many across the auditorium were impacted and received miracles in their bodies!
An Avalanche of Miracles!Fifty-nine year old
Maria Chulayo had suffered from arthritis, diabetes and high blood pressure for ten years. As a result, she couldn't walk and had swollen and painful knees. This condition greatly affected her and her family, as her children spent a lot of money to pay for her treatments. With compassion, the man of God touched her
on the head, transferring the healing anointing to her body. Next, he placed his hands on her chest; immediately she got up and walked around the auditorium, rejoicing in the Lord! Speaking of her experience, Maria said joyfully,
“I felt a warm feeling spread throughout my body. The stiffness I felt in my knees disappeared. My knees felt like they were loosened by the power of God, and I could bend them. I'm healed, and feel very fresh and strong. Glory to God!”A 21 year old man,
George Mathebula had suffered from kidney failure for three years and was constantly fatigued. He also experienced headaches, loss of appetite and swelling in his body. He was frequently hospitalized and was unable to attend school regularly. When the man of God ministered to him, he touched his forehead, transferring the healing power into him. Then he asked George to take deep breaths of the anointing, and declared him healed! With those words, the young man simply got up and walked around the auditorium as though nothing had been wrong with him! “I give God praise. I'm strong!” he said later.
Miriam Mokhoanatse had come to the Healing School with faith that God would heal her of the pains she lived with everyday. She'd suffered from chronic arthritis and hypertension for 30 years. As a result of this condition, she had swollen legs and walked with the aid of crutches. The hypertension she suffered affected her vision; thus she couldn't see properly. Ministering healing to her, the man of God touched her forehead and chest, and the anointing went through her body! Immediately, she got up and walked, giving glory to God! “
When the man of God touched me, I felt the Holy Spirit going into every part of my body,” she exclaimed. “
Thank You Jesus! I'm healed! I've experienced a change in my body; I can now walk properly without crutches!” “This is the Bible come to life! Jesus is the same today asHe's always been!” declared
Steve Bateson, a visitor from the United Kingdom. “I considered it a huge privilege to be part of this wonderful service where lives were changed!”

Continuing his anointed ministration in a powerful exhortation, Pastor Chris expounded great truths on the ministry of the Holy Spirit in the life of the Christian. He gave the background of Jesus' death and the impossible circumstances from which He arose from the dead, such as being pierced by the sword; being without blood in His body; embalmed and encased; shut in a cave with a great stone rolled over it; and guarded by elite soldiers day and night. But in spite of all these, the Holy Spirit raised Him from the dead! Then he said,
“If that same Spirit that raised up Jesus from the dead lives in us, He's able to vitalize our mortal, short-lived, perishable bodies!” He concluded by saying that these glorious truths should be our constant meditation and contemplation. Afterwards, he led everyone present in the service to declare glorious confessions from God's Word on divine health.
Rounding up the service, he commended the Healing School partners for all their efforts and ministered words of blessing into their lives. It was indeed a life transforming service characterized by the mighty healing power of God!
The 19th of September 2010 – 1st Healing School Service of the 2010 Spring Session - is sure to reverberate in the minds of many for many years to come!
