ReachOut Nigeria Campaigns – A Strategy for Development in Nigeria
Christ Embassy has always been at the vanguard of championing the worthy cause for positive development in Nigeria. The ministry’s corporate social responsibility efforts tell an ongoing story of social, economic, environmental, and spiritual impact in different parts of the nation.
Through ReachOut Nigeria, millions of lives have been changed positively. So many people because of what they learnt in the devotional have been inspired to embark on community developments by developing mobile schools and resource centers. Some others have given themselves to working in organizations or sectors of the society that have not been known to be money spinning ventures, but committed themselves to such endeavors because of what Pastor Chris defined true success as "...impacting the world with the investment of your personality."
Positive Change In The City Of Port HarcourtIn 2009, in Port Harcourt, a major Nigerian city, inmates at the state’s maximum prison were given access to computer training, thanks to the ultra-modern computer training center built by Christ Embassy within the prison’s premises. They also began to enjoy a wholesome spiritual experience at the Christ Embassy Cathedral also built by the ministry.
Beefing Up Security In Lagos And Anambra StatesIn Lagos and Anambra States, Christ Embassy helped to improve the state of security by providing equipment for security operatives. In Lagos, security vans were presented to the state government, while in Anambra 35 networked computers were presented to all 35 divisional police offices in the state.
New Developments For 2010For ReachOut Nigeria 2010, partners of Rhapsody of Realities are executing essential developmental projects such as:
- Supply of provisions and relief materials to those requiring aid;
- Provision of amenities to aid security operatives in various states;
- Provision of better educational facilities in some states;
- Provision of boreholes in several states;
- Construction of facilities for the less privileged…and so much more!!!
Nigeria has a soul that can be reached and transformed. That’s the reason for ReachOut Nigeria: To inspire patriotism and build the future we want for our nation. That future is worth celebrating, and through ReachOut Nigeria 2010, we celebrate the Nigeria we hope for and which we have seen!
