Of all the events that have rocked the Coca-Cola dome, South Africa’s most definitive multi-purpose indoor entertainment arena, none can be compared to the “3 Days of Revelation & Power with Pastor Chris” which took place from Thursday 17th to Saturday 19th of March 2005.
The vicinity of the dome was awash with excitement as people started trooping in as early as 9:00 am each day, to the amazement of some dome officials. They came from every walk of life, race, colour, tribe and tongue, a fantastic cornucopia of humanity united in their purpose and passion for God’s Word and the touch of the Holy Spirit.

Every available seating space inside the dome had been fully booked several days before the services by the thousands who had pre-registered. Consequently, priority for seats inside was given to them. All they had to do was present their registration cards at the reservation desks where they were issued tickets before they were allowed inside.

Attendees at future programs can take advantage of free seat reservation available on-line or through Christ Embassy Churches to beat the rush on program days.

From the registration statistics, it was apparent that most of those who came for the meetings came, not because they were sick and in need of healing, but because they had a desire to hear God’s Word. This was really remarkable because being a world renowned healing minister, most people attend Pastor Chris’ meetings to get healed and receive miracles.

To see people hungry for the Word had always been Pastor Chris’ passion – and this desire was evident when he asked the audience the first two nights for their Bibles and taught extensively from God’s Word. He told the people he was not a magician who would conjure up miracles for them but that everything they expected from the meeting or desired for their lives would come only through the Word of God.

The venue officials were initially concerned that the crowd would be unruly and uncontrollable once they discovered the dome was full. Their apprehension was further heightened by the weather forecast that predicted a very cold and rainy weather for the three days. But the weather forecast was overturned by the prayers of the saints. There was fine weather for the three days and there were no incidents throughout the programme – the Spirit of God took charge!

Conservatively, over 100,000 attendance was recorded over the 3 days of the program.

The roll call of dignitaries who attended the meetings was also quite impressive. There were royals, leaders in politics and government, business executives, and ministers of the Gospel, all with a unifying desire to see the power of God and receive His Word.
