Each
night, the dome was bathed in a kaleidoscope of brilliant
lights as the sessions began with exhilarating praise
and worship. The many unforgettable scenes could
have been from a gospel concert. Songs were rendered
to the Lord both in English and native South African
dialects and the entire congregation melted into
one huge harmonious voice as they sang, danced and
worship God.
Pastor
Chris started the opening session by expressing his
love for South Africa, describing it as a great country
which people from other nations of the world long
to visit. He assured the people there would dramatic
changes in their lives as a result of the meetings,
and reminded them of Saul, whose life was never again
the same after his encounter with Samuel, the prophet
of God.

Addressing
the ministers, he expressed his gratitude to them for
turning out in such large numbers and urged them to
get a hold of the message with their spirits, digest
it in their system and share it with their congregation,
so they in turn can take it to the rest of the world.
Reading
from Ephesians 4: 8-13, Pastor Chris announced that
his mission to South Africa was to edify the Body
of Christ and perfect the saints for the work of
the ministry. Without mincing words, he declared, “God
is sending me to give you something you require for
your life. As a vessel of God, I’m carrying
something for your benefit and my job is to bring
to you what God has sent me to deliver to you. Your
responsibility however is to receive it.”
