The
First Night
“You’ve got five days to change
your destiny, five days to decide what your future
is going to be like. Five days!” Those
were Pastor Chris’ inspiring words on the
first night of the teaching and healing services
tagged 5 Days For Destiny and the crowd roared
their response in anticipation of that – a
change in their destiny.
Day
One. Wednesday, 29th September. It was a beautiful
spring morning in South Africa, and
people of different races, tribes, colours, backgrounds
and walks of life had began to converge upon
the Standard Bank Arena in Ellis Park, Johannesburg
as early as 10:a.m inn the morning. Blacks, whites,
coloureds, Indians, Orientals, young and old,
rich and poor, halt and hale, sick and strong,
all had a unifying desire: to be taught at the
feet of Jesus and receive that one Word, that
one touch from Him that would change their destinies
for ever.
“There are some of you here today who
came sick, hoping to be healed. Yes, of course,
you will be healed,” Pastor Chris encouraged
the eager thousands gathered the first night
of this life-changing meeting.
