Before announcing the theme for the year 2007, Pastor Chris gave a most instructive teaching as he prepared the hearts of the listeners for the New Year. Reading from Philippians 3:12-14, he re-echoed the words of Apostle Paul. He urged all to forget those things which were behind, and run the race of life in 2007, earnestly endeavoring to accomplish great things. He explained that every one of us is involved in life's race, but sadly, some run aimlessly thus missing the mark. In his words, “Maybe you ran aimlessly in 2006… get a hold of this one truth: put the past behind! Set your goals, knowing what's ahead and go for it.” This was the underlying import of Pastor Chris' admonition as he emphasized the one thing needful in 2007.
“Ladies and gentlemen, it is 2007!” The sounding of those words and the subsequent declaration of the theme for the year by the man of God generated spontaneous shouts of rejoicing and joyful revelry across the globe. He announced 2007 as “the year of Supernatural Accomplishments.” Explaining the significance of having a theme for the year, Pastor Chris declared, “It matters that the Lord gives us a theme for the year, to let us know His direction for our lives, that word that God gives us for the year is actually a prophetic utterance.”

The Real Fight In Life
Challenging and preparing everyone for the days ahead in 2007, Pastor Chris also taught that the real fight in life is the fight of faith. He explained that when life looks dark and things seem impossible, you ought to fight your way through with the Word of God! That's the good fight of faith! That's the fight everyone must fight and win in 2007.
