Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, founder and President of Believers’ LoveWorld (BLW) Incorporated, also known as Christ Embassy, recently concluded an all-inspiring and much anticipated Bible Tour in Israel. The aim of the spiritual journey was for participants to connect with the Holy Land on a much deeper level, to fully immerse themselves in the Word of God beyond the written pages.
The tour provided Christians from all over the world the opportunity to connect with their Christian roots and follow the steps of Jesus and thus strengthen their relationship with God.
Hundreds of participants journeyed from around the world, mostly from the United Kingdom, USA, Canada, South Africa, North America and Nigeria, to join Pastor Chris, with the aim of connecting to the Holy Land and walk in the footsteps of the Lord Jesus Christ. Additionally, the world renowned Televangelist Pastor Benny Hinn, joined the tour to further strengthen the bond between Christians worldwide.
The tour in Israel and Jordan, was designed to present a memorable experience to first-time participants and present a new opportunity for returning participants to take a closer look at the journey Jesus took. Participants were privileged to experience places like the Western Wall in Jerusalem, the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, the traditional site of Christ’s crucifixion, burial, and resurrection and Cana of Galilee where Jesus turned water to wine. The trip was filled with museums, monuments, authentic markets, great food and much more.
This year’s visit is also considered as a major event as not only did it mark the 70th anniversary of the State of Israel, but it also marked the year that the President Donald Trump declared the move of the US Embassy to Jerusalem.
Pastor Chris Oyakhilome began his journey in Jerusalem, where he visited the Southern Steps and conducted an uplifting ministration. The following day he spent visiting the two most famous museums in Israel, the Herzl and Palmach museums, which honor those who have established and fought for the Zionist movement during the establishment of the State. Pastor Chris then visited the ancient village of Abu Gosh, which was first settled 6,000 years ago and previously known as the place where the Ark of the Covenant was placed. Pastor Chris also was at Emmaus, where Jesus appeared to His disciples after His death and resurrection.
The Western Wall, was another location visited by Pastor Chris, which represents the destruction of the Second Temple. Being that it is the only remaining wall of the Temple, mass numbers of people are attracted to it.
Pastor Chris concluded his stay by joining in on the holy Sabbath traditions and strengthened the bond between Christians and Jews in Israel.
Two first-of-it-kind Live broadcasts of the Holy Land Tour, climaxed this year’s edition and were transmitted, to a global audience on all LoveWorld NetWorks, LTM and Radio Networks, Live Tv and CeFlix mobile apps.
